The African Orchard Project

is a strategic investment in equipping 450 African church leaders to respond to the outworking of poverty and AIDS in their own communities.

Building on their own intuitive understanding of their village and its needs, this project will focus on training and equipping rural pastors in “Best Practice” methods and assisting them in implementing programs that are effective and sustainable.

We have identified several key programs from our organization model that we will empower these leaders to implement. These programs were chosen based on need (the urgency of hungry children), cost (easy to implement quickly and sustain), and effectiveness (major difference makers in restoring hope).
